Website Terms and Conditions
These terms govern use of the Electrician Electricians website and the submission of electrical-service enquiries. A separate quotation, work order or agreement may contain additional terms for approved work.
Last updated: 16 July 20261. Acceptance of These Terms
By using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Website Disclaimer. Stop using the website if you do not agree.
2. Website Purpose
The website provides information about electrical repairs, installations, fault finding, DB boards, COC-related work, generators, solar, batteries, EV charger supplies, air-conditioning electrical supplies and related services. Website information is general and does not replace inspection, testing, engineering design, manufacturer instructions or a formal quotation.
3. Enquiries Are Not Confirmed Appointments
Submitting a form, email or WhatsApp message does not automatically confirm an appointment, price, stock reservation or acceptance of work. An appointment is confirmed only after the location, scope, availability and relevant commercial terms have been agreed.
4. Quotations and Scope
Quotations are based on the information available at the time. Electrical faults may require inspection or testing before the full repair scope is known. Hidden defects, unsafe alterations, inaccessible wiring, inaccurate customer information, changed requirements or additional work may require a revised quotation or approval.
5. Prices and Payment
Website wording does not constitute a fixed price unless expressly stated in a formal quotation. Prices, stock, labour, travel, assessment requirements and payment terms may vary by location and scope. Payment terms contained in an accepted quotation, invoice or agreement apply to the relevant work.
6. Access and Customer Responsibilities
The customer must provide safe and lawful access to the property, identify known hazards, obtain landlord, body-corporate or property-management approval where required, and ensure an authorised person can approve decisions affecting the work.
Customers must not conceal known faults, unsafe alterations or equipment limitations. Incorrect or incomplete information can affect pricing, safety and scheduling.
7. Electrical Safety
Do not use website content to perform dangerous electrical work. Exposed wiring, smoke, sparks, burning smells, electric shock, hot DB boards and water near electrical equipment require appropriate isolation and professional attention. Only switch off a supply where it is safe to do so.
8. Equipment, Products and Warranties
Manufacturer warranties, specifications and support conditions apply to products. Workmanship warranties, where offered, are governed by the quotation or completion documentation and do not replace manufacturer warranties. Warranty coverage may exclude misuse, overloading, unauthorised changes, external surges, water damage, acts of nature and product failures unrelated to workmanship.
9. Website Accuracy and Availability
We aim to keep information accurate, but services, prices, areas, stock, finance options, regulations, technical requirements and availability may change. We may update, remove or correct website information without notice.
10. Intellectual Property
Website text, branding, design, graphics, photographs and code are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws unless otherwise stated. Content may not be copied, republished, resold or used to misrepresent another business without written permission.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
Links to social media, WhatsApp, finance partners, manufacturers or other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy, security, availability or content.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss caused by reliance on general website information instead of obtaining a proper inspection, quotation or professional assessment. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African consumer or other applicable law.
13. Governing Law
These website terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate South African courts, subject to any mandatory consumer dispute process.
