Pylontech Batteries history

Pylontech was founded in 2007 by a group of industry veterans with decades of experience in the power storage and energy management fields. The company is headquartered in Shenzhen, China, and has offices around the world. Pylontech specializes in advanced lithium battery technology for stationary energy storage systems (ESS). Their products are used to store solar or wind-generated electricity and provide backup power during outages. They also offer solutions for peak shaving, load shifting, demand response, microgrids, and more.

The company’s first product line was launched in 2009 – their US2000 series batteries were designed specifically for home use as well as small business applications such as telecom towers or remote villages without access to grid-based electricity.
